Brett: I would love to...

Beth: I love that you love this site! Your comment made me so happy. And I agree, too, with your statement that we can restore anything. I know you're into that, as well. Thanks for the suggestion about coral restoration. I will try to remember to look that up when I have some time. Feel free to remind me... :)

It was conventional wisdom for a while that rainforests couldn't be restored. Once the trees were gone, the soil would all wash away.

But that's just nonsense. I am fully confident we can restore anything if we try. We just have to learn how to do it and realize it's a multigenerational thing.

I love this site. It feels good to come here and find this kind of stuff.

If you ever find any articles about coral restoration, please post those. I'd love to read about them.

I tell you, if you ever have a chance to see Biosphere 2, do it. Impressive. I mean, it is literally like another planet, sitting on our own. Kind of like the domed cities you see in sci-fi stuff.

Glad to see you here! And thanks for the link; I'll check it out for sure!

This kind of stuff just warms me. I love reading about projects where people are wholly devoted to doing good like this, especially to reverse damage.

Phew! Finally got back here today... work was actually "work" today (but still not much fun...)

This is really neat. It reminds me of the Biosphere 2, in some ways http://www.b2science.org/

I went there many years ago and it was really cool to look in through the windows and see the scientists living and working, completely isolated from the outside world.
